Produced only in August
Pine honey produced each August by local families in the forests of Evia island. Is made from honeydew, not flower nectar and therefore has low sugar content.
The beehives are placed at an altitude of 400 meters for 30-35 days during August, and as a result of the low humidity and low sugar content, the honey is thick, light in color and it doesn't crystalize.
